Based on conversations with the clients, I drew some sketches to give direction. From our discussions over design, scale and colour, the tree was created.
The sculpture was later painted a colour the client chose.
For the purpose of installation, a paper template was created. Mounting brackets on the back of the sculpture we marked on the template .
With the installation site cleared, scaffolding was erected and the template was aligned and secured in place
Mounting bolts were attached to the stone wall then, one-by-one, the sections of the sculpture were put into place under the friendly supervision of the owners.
